On the one hand, wealthier families can consistently provide better resources, such as private tutors and overseas study opportunities. People can learn a variety of skills that are beneficial to career developing since they were young. Additionally, students from high-income families study aboard to proficient their foreign languages and broaden their horizons, which foster the capability of competitive from their peers. For instance, China has shown the result that students from rich families are twice as likely to attend prestigious universities compared to those from low-income households. As a result, the financial advantage of wealthy families makes it difficult to completely eliminate the educational gap.
On the other hand, public investment in free education and digital learning platforms can give disadvantaged students more erual opportunities. For example, Finland government elicits funding policies to minimize disparities, allowing students from different backgrounds to achieve similar academic outcomes. Furthermore, community-based initiatives as mentoring programs and volunteer tutoring can also provide additional support for underprivileged students, helping them to build confidence and improve their academic performance.
