7/21-IELTS Writing Task 2- Joy

The question that whether technology can be helpful on society or not has been highly debated. From my perspective, I totally agree with technology has positive effects on society, (as) it is no doubt that technology plays a vital role in our daily lives.

To begin with, technology has made our life more convenient(facilitate our life) and easier to manage(be managed). Technology has changed our lives in various ways, such as payment methods, contact tools. Nowadays, lots of people use their phones to pay money and bills rather than carrying a purse. This helps individuals do not have(not) to worry about the steal problem(pocket picking). For instance, I used to carry a purse every single day,(;) however, my bag was stolen by a stranger after that I used Apple Pay to be a main payment method.(Therefore, digital payment such as Apple pay become my main payment method)

In addition, with the development of technology, people are allowed to keep contact with their friends even they are in different countries. In the past, people can only contact with each other by letter which is an inefficient way. Nevertheless, technology allows us keep in touch with family and friends straightforwardly such as using social media or video phone call. (Example) While some may argue that people may over depend on technology this can lead a negative impact on society, I still believe individuals are capable of using technology effectively and wisely.

To sum up, in recent years technology has not only changed the way we live but also improved our quality of life. Even though technology has its advantages and drawbacks, I still consider technology can have a positive impact on society.
