07/30-IELTS Writing Task 3(peers pressure)-Hank

In my view, those positive impacts (from peer pressure) lie in their abilities to broaden our horizons, foster self-improvement and provide meaningful companionship throughout our journey toward personal aspirations. Undoubtedly, these benefits far outweigh the potential downsides, which can often be mitigated through mindful curations of our social circles.

To begin with, peer pressure promotes holistic development by encouraging self-discipline, contributing to our personal growth and expansion of horizons. For instance, during my school age, I had met various fellows of versatility. Their determination often inspires the sense of healthy competition. Their faith for self-actualization whispers a restless urge into my inexperienced heart. Building friendships with those admirable individuals always allows me to explore the kaleidoscopic possibilities for living. (Specific outcome)

On the other hand, some might point to negative experiences caused by awful peers pressure, which might result in individuals being misled or overwhelmed by unhealthy competition. But in fact, as some studies in behavioral economics show, the effects of both-sides consequences stem from people’s vulnerability to groupthink and conform. That is, a person naturally commands a tendency not to dissociate himself or herself form the mainstream ideology of belonging groups. Thus, the solution is obvious. With frequent contemplation outside the eco-chamber of peers, as well as carefully identifying the influences in certain groups, one can easily get rid of the poisonous effect of peer pressure and choose to embrace the inspiring effects.

In conclusion, peer pressure serves as a beacon in the stormy sea of perplexity during adolescence. With cautious filtering out of harmful environment, it not only illuminates our journey toward future, but also grafts new branches of undiscovered possibilities beyond preconceived mindset.
