Young users aged 18-24 dominated platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, with usage declining significantly in order age groups. The proportion of users using TikTok was 90% among those aged 18-24, while this figure dropped to 60% for the 25-34 age group, and further dropped to 35% among the oldest group. Instagram usage followed a similar trend, with 85% among the youngest group, 70% for those aged 25-34, and 50% for the 35-44 age group.

Facebook usage peaked at 65% among 25-34-years-old. It then dropped gradually to 60% among those aged 18-24 and 55% for the 35-44 age group. While 40% of people aged 18-24 used Twitter in 2022, only 35% of those 25-34 did so, and the figure fell even lower to 25% among the oldest group. Finally, LinkedIn usage stood out at 45% among the oldest group. It then decreased modestly to 35% for those aged 25-34 and 20% among the youngest group.
