As technology drastically transforms our reading habits, some people believe that e-books are eventually replaced paper book while other argue that paper books still stand their position in the future. Personally, I strongly support the latter statement as traditional books offer unique advantages that digital formats cannot fully replaced.

People now highly engage with E-book as it provides accessibility and flexibility. Thousands of e-books can be stored in one tiny digital device that easier for travel without weight limitation. Accessing to abundant of digital book resource online offers readers more choice to read more publications in other countries. For example, people can not only read digital books but also listen to audio books on their commuting to work. E-books offer people convenience and accessible experiences that paper books could not offer.

However, printed books still play a vital role since they cause less damage of (are less detrimental to) eye health compared to digital formats. Excessive exposure to digital screen with blue light can damage eyes health, making it difficult to concentrate on reading.  Another compelling reasons why printed books cannot be replaced is because people show deeper comprehension when reading on paper books. From my experience, I tend to skim through the content when I read via digital devices while printed book slows me down and absorbs the content thoroughly. As a result, lack of distraction and immersive reading environment of traditional book keeps it in an unreplaceable (irreplaceable) place.

While e-book becomes more popular because of its accessibility and flexibility, printed book still holds its value, offering readers calm and undistracting experience. To be a wise reader, smartly chose whichever format whichever suits your needs and enhancing your reading experience.
