The line graph compares amounts of people for participanting different events in Melbourne from 2000 to 2020.

It is clear that the number of participants enjoying table tennis and musical performances rose gradually over 15 to 20 years, while people attending to film club and martial arts  remained relatively stable.Furthermore,there has almost decreased for doing amateur dramatics.

Firstly,film club dominated participation levels, beginning at approximately 65 participants in 2000. Despite minor fluctuations, including a slight dip to around 60 in 2010, it recovered to reach its peak of roughly 67 participants by 2020. Table tennis, initially less popular activity with merely 18 participants in 2000, demonstrated remarkable growth trend,and ultimately reached 55 participants by 2020, making it the second most popular activity.

On the other hands, Martial arts exhibited a more irregular pattern, starting at 35 participants in 2000, gradually increasing to a peak of approximately 38 in 2015, before declining to 35 by 2020. In contrast, amateur dramatics experienced consistent decline throughout the period, falling from 27 participants in 2000 to 7 by 2020. Musical performances, which got zero participation in 2000, showed steady growth in 2005, reaching 18 participants by 2020.

In contrast, amateur dramatics started at 35 participants but saw a continuous drop, reaching zero by the end of the period.

    Table tennis saw a remarkable increase from 15 participants in 2000 to roughly 52 in 2020, surpassing martial arts in 2015. Martial arts fluctuated between 30 and 40 participants, peaking around 38 in 2010 before a slight decline to approximately 33 in 2020. Meanwhile, musical performances showed moderate growth from zero in 2000 to around 17 participants by 2020, overtaking amateur dramatics after 2010.

    In summary, while the film club remained dominant, table tennis gained substantial popularity, and amateur dramatics lost participants completely.
