7/21-IELTS Writing Discussion- language acquisition-Judy

The topic of language acquisition has become increasingly important in today’s society, with many people holding different opinions. Some argue that some people believe that learning a foreign language at an early age is more effective, while others believe that it is better to start later in life.In the essay,I will discuss both perspectives and provide my own opinion on the matter.

Firstly, those who support the idea that learning a foreign language at an early age often argue that some parents want to give their children can have more competitive.(it’s easier to learn foreign language at the early age) (Introduction: children have more time to study. Outcome: therefore, becoming more competitive) For instance, my auntie takes her two sons to study in the bilingual school in China.she said that she wants to let her sons become more international.This shows if we learning a foreign language at an early age. Then we will get a new skills compares other who doesn’t have chance to learn the second language. 

On the other hand, others believe that it is better to start later in life.(,) Because some people think children should be learning without any pressure(adults would have a clearer goals when acquiring a new language). And they need to concentrate their own language. For example,my mom doesn’t let me learning other languages when I was a kid. She wants give me a happy child life. This suggests that I deeply feel my mom’s love and precious memory when I study in kindergarten which she wants bring it to me.However that’s let me failed my English test all the time. 

In conclusion,while there are valid arguments on both sides of the debate surrounding language acquisition,I believe that learning a foreign language at an early age will helps children can easily to have more competitive when them grow up.
