9/28-ELTS Writing Task 2- Sereina

Nowadays, influencers have a big impact on people on social media. It’s hard to know whether this influence is always positive or negative. In my opinion, I consider that the positive aspects outweigh the negative ones.

On the one hand, social medial influencers could encourage young people to turning(turn) passion into career.(On one hand, influencer can motivate others and share useful information.) For example, there are more and more person become(becoming) an influencer, not only they have interest to run a channel on instagram or YouTube, but also they can turn their talent to a job. Furthermore, influencers are the best advertisement than experts, they can promote useful information to society without any effort.(Example) the reason why is influencers share personal experiences and engage with their audience. Over all, influencers usually highly trusted by people, they are good helpers in delivering messages.

On the other hand,I believe that influencers will still bring some negative effect(when it comes to misinformation). when they spread misinformation without proper research, and people will receive false information .For instance, last year, there have(two influencers) opened a famous beverage store, which highlighted Japanese fresh milk in drinks, and two of influencers used their reputation to promote these messages to their fans and public. In fact, someone revealed the shop using mike powder to make the product .Therefore ,influencers sometimes will hiding the truth, so it’s important for us to have media literacy.

In conclusion, I agree that social media influencers have a positive impact on society. While in some cases we still need to distinguish right from wrong by ourselves, I believe that we can apply the benefits of social media influencers in our daily life.
