Some people believe that educational disparity between rich and poor student will always exist, while others think it can be reduced through government policies and social initiatives. This essay will discuss both views and give my own opinion.
On one hand, some people believe that educational disparity between rich and poor students will always exist because this is a long-term consequence, which isn’t(cannot be) easily changed. Many rich parents help their children to achieve the accomplishment quickly through their money, power and personal network. For instance, my university classmate’s English ability is very good(exceptional) because her parents hired a private English teacher for her since she was a child. What’s more, she can be an exchange student abroad but doesn’t worry about the tuition and daily expense, which her parents will give her. However, I need to do a part time job to finish these things by myself.
On the other hand, others think educational disparity can be reduced through government policies and social initiatives. For instance, the government can offer a housing subsidy to low-income families and provide the scholarship to poor students. However, poor students still face a lot of problems. For example, although some students are not from low-income families, they still need the scholarship to complete the university studies. However, they aren’t eligible to apply for the scholarship, which cause many students can’t be benefit from the policy.
In conclusion, I think educational disparity between rich and poor students will has a wider gap because government policies can not ensure equal benefits for all students. And rich students get better education because of their parents’ resources.

1. 第二段寫很好!
2.第三段的邏輯錯誤有點大,第三段你的主張是透過政策,可以補教教育資源的不公平,但你的舉例(紫色部分)卻在講政策其實不夠,所以這就是個不好的例子!
