The question of whether maintaining a good work-life balance is the key to success has a positive or negative effect is often debated. The issue has gained attention recently, dividing opinions. In my view, I agree with the idea that the key to success is maintaining a good work-life balance has a significant positive impact. This essay will discuss my reason for this stance and provide examples to support my opinion, leading to a reasoned conclusion.
Firstly, one of the main reasons why I believe I agree is because of enough rest. If you have enough energy, you can push yourself to the limit easily. For instance, when I was a college student , I not only had to prepare a final performance for the dancing club but also had to study hard for the final exam at the end of the semester. Although I didn’t have enough sleep, I still had to practice dancing and had a lot of meetings with my classmates. In my freshman year, I messed up everything. So I learned the lesson in my sophomore year, I got all of my credit and had an outstanding performance on the stage. This clearly demonstrates that if you have enough rest and find a way to distribute your time, you can have great behavior.
Furthermore, it dawned on me that a good work-life balance is beneficial when I consider mental health. Take myself for example, there was a time I suffered from depression. I was a workaholic, and I’ve been working overtime continuously because I want to achieve a higher position. I didn’t notice that this kind of behavior influenced my mental health. I couldn’t sleep well and undermine my own worth. Finally I was getting better because I changed my lifestyle ,looking for some entertainment and encouraged myself. In addition, I get a higher salary and complete my goals because of maintaining work-life balance.
In conclusion, although there are differing opinions on work-life balance, I strongly believe that I agree to maintaining a good work-life balance based on the reasons discussed above. This evidence and examples provided confirm that enough rest and mental health are vital in your life and can lead to success.
