11/16 – Task1 social media – Antony

This charts shows the using proportion of different social media apps in three age groups in 2022. It splited the age groups to 18–24, 25–34, and 35–44 years.

Overall, Instagram and Facebook were the most popular social media platform in the in three different sort of age groups. Both of them had at least 50% users in any age groups, even reach 85% users in youngest groups.

TikTok was the most popular choice for the young people who were 18-24 ages, however, it seem like not a useful social media in the oldest groups.  Most of the users of elder age group which include 35-44 years people were prefer the Facebook, it has 55% users in this age group.

 

In addition, Twitter and Linkin were the last in three age groups separately. Twitter had 25% of users in 35-44 years group and also was the last one in 25-34 years group. Linkin had just 20% of users in 18–24 years group, it had almost 20% gap behind Twitter in the same group, which was the second lowest social media in 18–24 years group.
