In recent years, many people follow social media influencers online, and I am no exception. Some think they help society, but some others believe they bring bad impact. In my opinion, I think most influencers bring more good effect than bad one, if they use their influence in the right way. (and the reasons would be elaborated in the following paragraphs.)

First, many influencers talk about important topics, like mental health, or being kind to others.(when it comes to motivation and raising public’s awareness, influencers have a giant, positive impact on audience.) For example, some influencers share their personal stories to help people feel they are not alone, or encurage(encourage) people to achieve their goal. This can give support to people who are struggling. (Concrete example) Also, some use their power to raise money or start projects that help others.(Concrete example)

Second, influencers can also help small businesses. When they share products, more people see it, and it can help the business grow.

However, there are some problems too. A few influencers share false information or try to make people think they need to look perfect or buy expensive things. This will make young people become vain. But if schools teach media skills and if influencers follow some rules, these problems can be less.

In conclusion, I believe social media influencers have a mostly good impact. They can share helpful ideas, support others, and help good causes. As long as they are careful and honest, they can be a strong force for good in society.
