In the contemporary world, social media is not only a platform for interaction but also a place where people compare themselves to others. Some companies catch the opportunity in this ”chaos”, employing influencers to show their commodity on social media to attract possible users. But sometimes, people buy it only because they trust the influencer and not really know about the thing they buy.

From my perspective, many influencers are too urgent to make money, in turn the quality of  their content declines.(From my perspective, influencer is detrimental to society since they often spread misinformation) As a result, the information in their posts can be misleading and people who follow them may believe all the information without checking themselves.(Continue with concrete example) Furthermore, this phenomenon practically endangers teenagers. For instance, there are a lot of trends on social media from adult influencers, and some teenagers love to follow these trends by mocking the video. What really hurts is many teens are unable to judge if the trend is suitable for them. LIke a trend about drinking alcohol or talking bad to strangers.

Adults can be taken advantage of too. As I said above, some companies tend to employ influencers to attract the public. In terms of this, influencers only share the good part of the commodity but ignoring the real one, which leads to false advertising. As the interaction on social media is so insincerity, one day, it will spread to the real world. It truly breaks the trusting bond between people. Society can not work without trust. Like Australia, we should protect teenagers from these toxic content to avoid them trusting unsafe behavior. Setting a line to warn yourself when you are browsing social media is also important, being so you can shy away the misleading information. When social media is a mess, the only thing we can do is protect ourselves.
