In the present day, most people agree that family support is the cornerstone of personal growth. However, some people believe that friends more impacts than family. This essay will explore and explain why I agree family plays a key role in people’s life not friends.
Firstly, one of the main reasons why I agree is because of individuals and their family have a same diet habits and lifestyle. They live in the same environment and thinking in the similar logical. For example, people tend to spend most of time with families such as parents and their children. Children sometimes follow their parents’ behaviours. This clearly demonstrates that family plays an important role in people’s lives.
Furthermore, some people argue friends affects individuals more than family. It is common to see the problems of peer-pressure. Friends might have misleading and a failure model. For instance, teenagers need to face challenges of peer competition such as the latest version of phones and clothes of the luxurious brand. It has two sides of every coins. Friends also brings advantages. A good sample is if one enjoys reading, it would affect others to take part in reading. However, friendships would be change. Individuals have undergone different friends with the rapid development of personal growth. It is unlike families have deep connections with each other.
In conclusion, although there are differing opinions on who plays a more important role in an individual’s life. I strongly believe that families are more significant based on the reasons discussed above. The evidence and examples provided confirm that family is the cornerstone of personal growth.
