Some people believe that social media influencers bring great advantages, while others think they may bring certain disadvantages. In this essay, I will discuss these two aspects before giving my own opinion.
Supporting this perspective, people(Individuals favoring influencer) suggest that more and more influencers are gaining social status over time, and a growing number of influencers(them) are seen as role models for young people. Therefore, Some influencers, being aware of their importance, have started to promote positive behaviors, such as sharing charitable events and supporting those in need. (Example) Additionally, some video creators or bloggers with strong (positive) values are regularly posting about their daily lives and personal experiences, (and) it could help some students learn to be a good citizens. On the other hand, other people consider that some video creators are still young, lack the maturity to judge their own behaviour or only want to attract more followers to earn more money, therefore, without considering the impact. (other people believe influencer is detrimental to society because of their irresponsible behavior to the public)Generally, these influencers are more likely to show off their wealth such as luxury items,(and) driving an expensive car, it makes some young people aspire to become them, eventually focus(focusing) too much on material goods. Moreover, some YouTubers make some insensitive jokes, breaking (and even break) public facilities as harmful to audiences,(.) these malignant behaviors might cause young people who lack core values, such as honesty, kindness and responsibility, to mimic.
In conclusion, while some influencers may have a negative impact on the public. I believe that many people still possess strong core values to judge those influencers. People who without distinguish ability could be educated by schools, parents, and governments. Therefore, a great influencer can serve as a role model and help transform harmful trends in a positive way. (281words)

Firstly, one of the main reasons why I believe influencers have a negative impact is because of the unrealistic lifestyles and standards they promote. For example, many influencers showcase highly curated images of wealth, luxury, and physical perfection, which can create unhealthy comparisons for young people. This clearly demonstrates that such portrayals contribute to body image issues, low self-esteem, and unrealistic expectations, especially among impressionable audiences.
Furthermore, it dawned on me that social media influencers are often detrimental when I consider their profit-driven content. Take product promotions, for example. Influencers often endorse products that they may not personally use or even believe in, simply for financial gain. In addition, this type of marketing can lead to consumers being misled by influencers’ recommendations, prioritizing profits over ethical responsibility.
In conclusion, although there are differing opinions on social media influencers’ impact, I strongly believe that their influence is largely negative based on the reasons discussed above. The evidence and examples provided confirm that their promotion of unrealistic standards and profit-driven motives outweigh any potential benefits they might offer to society.
