Some argue that the education gap between the rich and the poor will never disappear because of the wealth disparity, while others believe that the gap can be reduced as the government and society are willing to devote in. I believe that education disparity can be reduced when people provide alternative education and financial supports.(The essay would discuss both sides of perspectives and the reasons would be elaborated in the following paragraphs. Personally, I favor the latter.)

On the one hand, rich people tend to invest on children’s education, spending various(large amount of) money on cram school and study abroad. However, the resources provide(provided) to poor people are limited, which lead to the bigger education gap between two groups. For example, many rich children in Taiwan go to different kinds of cram schools, such as math, English and art, to increase their competition(enhance their competitiveness). As a result, they pass this on next generation, causing the never disappear disparity. (Concrete example)

On the other hand, as the government and society are willing to providing more supports, the disparity can be reduced in a long-term consequence. For instance, school can offer scholarship, after school class and part-time job to tackle education and financial problem. The government can implement new policies to support them, such as establish school without tuition fee, improving poor people’s right of education. Nevertheless, such helps, when adopted by many, can have a powerful impact in the long-term. (Concrete example)

In conclusion, although the rich devote a lot on children’s education, the supports from the government and society can reduce the education disparity between rich people and poor people in future.
