The chart clearly shows that in Melbourne, participants in different activities has changed over a twenty years period due to shifting public performances.

Overall, the film club consistently attracted(attracts) the highest number of participants throughout the entire period, while table tennis saw the most dramatic increase. In contrast, amateur dramatics experienced a significant decline and ended with the fewest participants .

In 2020, the film club had the highest attendance, with around 60 participants, and this figure remained relatively stable, slightly increasing by 2020. Table tennis began with just over 20 participants(individual) but showed a steady rise, particularly after 2010. Eventually climbing approximately 60 participants by 2020. It overtaking all other activities except film club.(This activity eventually reaches approximately 60 people in 2020, a fact that have table tennis become the second most popular activity following film club)

Martial arts and musical performances followed similar trends, both fluctuating slightly buy(but) maintaining a moderate level of participation, ranging between 20 and 40 participants. Meanwhile, amateur dramatics started at around 25 but declined sharply after 2005, dropping to below 10 by 2020, making it became the least popular activity in the final year.

In conclusion , the chart highlights shifting preferences in entertainment activities, with table tennis gaining popularity significantly, while amateur dramatics lost much its appeal. The film club still remained the most attended activity across the two decades.
