3/1 Writing Belle

The topic of the educational disparity has become increasingly important in today’s society, with many people holding different opinions. Some argue that the educational disparity between rich and poor students will always exist, while others believe that it can be reduced through government policies and social initiatives. In this essay, I will discuss both perspectives and provide my own view on the matter.

Firstly, those who support the idea that the educational disparity between rich and poor students will always exist often argue that the resources the students can get(is unfair). The wealthy students always get first-hand, accurate learning resources, but the low income students always get misinformation. Take my experience for example, when I was a cram school teacher in a developed city(rural areas), I realised that to get(gain/receive) the correct information is very tough for these students. If you have not enough money you can not get complete news, and it leads to the misinformation widely spread among the poor students.(If you don’t have enough money, you will not have access to complete, right news, resulting in the rise of misinformation among poor students) This shows that the resources seemingly are prepared for the prosperous family, and the needy family don’t have any opportunity to change it(the unfairness).

On the other hand, others believe that the educational disparity can be reduced by government policies because the students in the country should have the same right to education. For instance, Taiwan does a great job to let students have a chance to study at university.(Taiwan governments allows pupils in bad condition to easily apply for college) There is a plan that supports the remote areas students who can apply to the university without facing a large number of competitors. When I studied in my university, I had a lot of classmates because of this plan so that they can fulfill their dream to study in the university.(I had plenty of peers fulfill their dream to study in college because of this plan) This suggests that the educational disparity has the chance to conquer(be conquered) because of the government’s policies.

In conclusion, there are valid arguments on both sides of the debate surrounding the educational disparity. I believe that we should take more research and discuss it afterwards.
